I am an experimental filmmaker, sound designer, and music composer. My research and creative interests include the posthuman, the body, materialism, and abstract film. My latest publication, co-written with Demelza Kooij is on the use of voice in Peter Mettler's films and can be found as a chapter in Soundings: Documentary and the Listening Experience. After a summer of building an animation set with armatures I am currently in the process of creating a stop-motion animation with voice by Lisa Kusanagi.

In 2015 I obtained a PhD from the University of Edinburgh in physical cosmology. I give guest lectures and workshops at Liverpool John Moores University in sound for film.
